Bansko, located 160 kilometers from Sofia, is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, with its highest peak, Vihren, reaching 2,914 meters. The town itself is at an elevation of 925 meters above sea level, while the ski area spans altitudes between 2,000 and 2,600 meters, providing a breathtaking alpine backdrop.
A modern 8-person gondola lift transports guests from Bansko to the main winter sports area, Bunderishka Polyana, covering a distance of 6 kilometers with a stop at a mid-station.
